Usually I deshelled , deveined the prawns and freeze it in ziplock bag. Prawns Curry / Prawn Gravy is one the regular dish we make whenever we get prawns. But we dont get prawns often so this time I made sure to click and post it. I realised I can cook nonveg if someone.

Steps to make Prawn gravy:
  1. Take a pan pour oil and season it with mustard, then add chopped onion and tomato, prawn and fry it for two minutes
  2. Put some turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste, salt,red chilli powder and coriander powder,mix it well
  3. Water comes out of the prawn which is enough to get cook, close the pan with a lid for 20 minutes, now and then check it doesn’t get stick to pan, after 20 minutes will get a gravy, finally add pepper powder and curry and coriander leaves for garnish (once the gravy starts boiling the flame must be in sim manner)
  4. It is a nice and simple dish and more over very tasty among seafood varieties.

But we dont get prawns often so this time I made sure to click and post it. I realised I can cook nonveg if someone. Kadai prawn gravy is a finger licking spicy south Indian style (or should I say Mangalorean style) prawns curry. Kind of a fusion between the traditional kadai prawn and the authentic coconut milk. Add the marinated prawn to this mixture and let it cook in its own juice.
