- Heat oil in a cooker and add mustard seed,cumin seed and curry leaves.
- Then add onions, green chillies and tomatoes, saute and cook till everything is merged
- Add bottlegourd and add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.Mix altogether.
- Then add moong dal(soak for 30minutes and add) or mysore dal and quarter cup water.
- Close the cooker and wait till it sounds 4 whistles.
- Garnish with some chopped coriander and serve.
