  1. Soak urad dal for 30minutes. Grind them with green chilli, fennel, coriander seeds, cinnamon and salt.
  2. Make balls and deep fry them.
  3. Take coconut milk. Powder redchilli and cumin together. Mix the powder with coconut milk.
  4. Add oil to a pan. Season it with mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal. Add chopped onions and potatoes.
  5. When potatoes are half cooked, add coconut milk mixed with chilli and cumin powder. Add turmeric powder and salt.
  6. When it boils, bring it to Sim and add the fried balls.
  7. Switch it off after 10 minutes. Curry has to be in little watery consistent,as the balls absorb the liquids faster.
