  13. Make ready 1/4 tsp haldi
  14. Take to taste Salt

You can replace my rasam powder with store bought rasam powder too. This can be made with few variations too, which I always do. Hot rasam, hot rice plus ghee - heavenly combination. Rasam is a south Indian soup which is eaten with rice.

Instructions to make Rasam:
  1. Take all the ingredients in the plate
  2. In a pan heat ghee and add jeera mustard seeds and hing and add curry leaves, garlic and onions,haldi, and fry for 1 minutes….
  3. Din add tomatoes,rasam powder Fry for 2 minutes then add tamarind juice and add 5cups water and salt to taste and cook for 10 minutes.. at last add coriander leaves and off the flame….
  4. Hot hot rasam is ready…. Serve with rice…….
