  1. For curry - Heat oil in a kadai add oil and sauté cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Now add curry leaves and tomato puree.
  2. Mix all the ingredients and cook well for about 5 minutes. Now add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Add water to adjust the consistency.
  3. For mini besan chillas.
  4. In a bowl add gram flour, chopped onion and green chillies. Salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and chopped coriander and mix well. Add water and it should have thick consistency.
  5. Heat a tava add 1 tbsp oil and pour 1 spoon of this chilla batter.
  6. Cook on one side and flip on another side till dark golden brown like this. From this batter 15 mini chillas can be made. Serve hot with curry and roti of your choice.
