  1. Take 1 medium sized bottle gourd / lauki, grated
  2. Take 1.5 cup tomato+Onion paste
  3. Prepare 1.5 tbsp garlic+ ginger paste

  5. Make ready 1-2 green chili,chopped
  6. Take 1 bayleaf
  7. Prepare 1 black cardamom
  8. Make ready 1 tsp Red chili powder

  11. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  12. Get 1 tsp coriender powder
  13. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Make ready 2-3 tbsp curd
  16. Get to taste Salt
  17. Prepare Oil for deep frying
  18. Take 1-2 tbsp oil
  19. Make ready 3 cup water

Curry Preparation for Lauki Kofta: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry it for few seconds on medium flame. Reduce the flame to low, add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix it.   1. Firstly, wash, peel & grate bottle gourd. Add salt mix well, leave it for 5-10min. And squeeze with your hand remove water from bottle gourd. (Don't throw take water in a bowl)
  2. Now take grated bottle gourd in a bowl add green chilli, ginger garlic paste carom seeds, gram flour, cumin, coriander powder coriander leaves mix well (add little water if required.)
  3. Now heat oil in a pan / kadai and deep fry kofta's on medium flame.
  4. For Curry:- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, bayleaf, black cardamom, ginger garlic paste saute for a minute add onion tomato paste saute for few minutes. Add all spices mix well. Add curd stir well Cook for 3-4 mins.
  5. Now add squeeze water mix well. Add 2 more cup water coverd with the lid and cook for 10-13 minutes.
  6. Now add kofta to the prepared curry stir well Cook for 3-4 mins flame off.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves & fresh cream Serve with chapati.
