  1. Get 1 cup yellow moong dal
  2. Make ready 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. Take To taste Salt
  4. Take 4-5 green chillies
  5. Prepare 6-7 curry leaves
  6. Prepare 1 medium size finely chopped onions
  7. Get 1 bunch coriander leaves

Moong Dal Vada recipe here is made with green moong dal or green gram which is a whole green gram and not the split one. It has been soaked for hours before making the actual vada. Moong dal vada are made with green dal grinded and made into a batter and then deep fried into vadas. Moong daal vadas taste great with green chutney.

Instructions to make Dal vada:
  1. Soak yellow moong dal in water for 6 to 7 hours,drain the water and grind it coarsly and mix it very well till it becomes fluffy texture.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste,green chillies,salt,onion,chopped curry leaves and fresh coriander leaves to the fluffy dal and give it a good mix. Now heat oil in a pan fry this vadas on low flame till brown in colour. Ready to serve👍
