  12. Take 5-6 curry leaves
  13. Prepare 1 tbsp oil
  14. Get 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Stir in the brown sugar along with the cooked okra and green chilies. Garnish the kadhi with sliced green chilies and serve hot with steamed. Gujarati Bhinda ki Kadhi/ Bhindi ki kadhi - Mildly spiced okra and buttermilk stew - specialty of Gujarat. Goes well with steamed rice and roti's.

Steps to make Bhindi/Okra Ki Kadhi:
  1. Wash and pet dry the bhindi using a kitchen towel. Chop each okra into medium pieces.
  2. Collect all ingredients for kadhi.
  3. Take yoghurt in a big mixing bowl.
  4. Add besan and mix well. With the help of whisker whisk until besan and curd mix well and no lumps remains.
  5. Now add water, haldi and salt and whisk again.
  6. Heat oil in a flat pan tawa once hot add methi dana, hing and then curry leaves.
  7. Then add onion and green chillies and saute for 2 minutes.
  8. Then add bhindi and season the bhindi with some salt and haldi powder and mix well.
  9. Keep the stir fried. Then add red chilli powder, coriander jeera powder and mix well.
  10. Then add curd mixture and mix well.
  11. Let the kadhi comes to boil. Mix well.
  12. Keep stirring the kadhi on medium heat and cook it for 5 minutes till it gets little thicks.
  13. Serve this kadhi with steamed rice or roti.

Gujarati Bhinda ki Kadhi/ Bhindi ki kadhi - Mildly spiced okra and buttermilk stew - specialty of Gujarat. Goes well with steamed rice and roti's.
