  18. Take 100-200 grams peanuts
  19. Take 2-3 green chillies
  20. Make ready 1/2 " ginger
  21. Make ready To taste Salt
  22. Make ready As needed Water
  23. Prepare For tempering
  24. Get 2 tablespoons oil
  25. Prepare 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  26. Prepare 7-8 curry leaves

Coconut chutney and peanut chutney can be made with many variations and hopefully I add up different variations as I keep updating. Peanut chutney or groundnut chutney made in andhra style to accompany idli , dosa & uttapam. Groundnut is just another term for peanut. This protein rich peanut chutney is made regularly at home for breakfast just like in most Telugu speaking homes.

Instructions to make Masala Dosa with Peanut Chutney:
  1. Wash and Soak rice and dal separately for about 7 8 hours or overnight. Add methi seeds to it.
  2. Now grind them in mixer separately. Add salt as per taste. Then put both of them in one Steel Dabba.
  3. Mix the batter well for 10 mins.
  4. Close the lid and keep it for fermenting in warm place. U can cover it with bedsheet.
  5. After fermenting it will be as in pic.
  6. For Aloo Masala. Take one kadai. Put little oil. Oil when heated at mustard seeds. When it splutters add onion and green chillies.
  7. Saute till translucent. Now add boiled potatoes and mix well.
  8. To it add curry leaves, salt and Haldi. And mix it.
  9. For garnishing add coriander leaves.
  10. For Chutney.. take peanuts, green chillies, ginger salt and water as required and grinde well in mixer.
  11. Take it out in a bowl and keep one small kadai or vagara for tempering. Add oil and mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour over chutney.
  12. Now for Dosa..take the required amount of batter in pot. Add few drops of water. Don't make it watery.
  13. Keep tawa for on gas.
  14. Spread dosa batter on tawa.
  15. Add one teaspoon oil. Over it. And wait till it is golden brown. Add masala to it.
  16. Masala Dosa with Chutney is ready to be served.
