The ingredients needed to make Gravy:
- Make ready 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Get 3 tbsp butter
- Get 1 beef cubes
- Take 1 tbsp soy sauce

Gravy consistency - don't let it get too thick, it thickens more when sitting around to be served. If it gets too thick, just add a touch of water. Storage - gravy gets thicker and gets a skin on the surface as it cools. Just use water to thin out, whisk the skin in and heat it up.
Steps to make Gravy:
- Melt the butter in a pan (low heat)
- When the butter turns a little bit brown, pour the flour. Mix well until the butter and flour are evenly combined.
- Add the beef cubes and mix well
- Pour the water and continue stirring
- Add the blackpepper and soy sauce. Continue stirring until you reach your desired consistency
Storage - gravy gets thicker and gets a skin on the surface as it cools. Just use water to thin out, whisk the skin in and heat it up. Gravy separates when there is too much fat in relation to the other ingredients. If this happens, cool down the gravy until the fat rises and solidifies. Scrape off the fat, discard and reheat your gravy.
