Meat Filling: Heat the oil in a large pot. When pork is cooked remove fat from pan. I added a pinch more salt and a little allspice to the recipe, also a teaspoon of poultry seasoning along with the sage that this recipe called for. I have saved this recipe and will continue the old tradition of meat pies for Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.

  3. In a clean bowl add in your flour, baking powder and pinch of salt,mix all ingredients together and add water,mix and foam a dough
  4. Use your rolling pin and board to roll the dough cut into circle place each circle on a meat pie cutter then you put the filling and close it
  5. Rub butter on a baking tray and dust it with flour then you arrange the meat pie. On the oven to preheat for 5-7mnts
  6. Egg wash the pies an place the tray and bake for 20mnts on medium to low heat
  7. Serve
