- Prepare Beef (thinly slice)
- Prepare 1/2 cup Oil
- Take 8 Skewers
- Take Spicy groundnut cake(kuli kuli)
- Make ready Seasoning
So that the sticks will not burn during the roasting of the Suya. If you live in Northern Nigeria you may know it as tsire. In the south it is suya. Either way it is the most delicious morsel of meat on a skewer you have ever eaten.
Steps to make Suya (tsire):
- Soak the skewers in water for 1hr (this help to prevent it from burning while grilling)
- Arrange the slice beef on skewers mix oil wit seasoning and rub using brush then sprinkle the groundnut cake to coat the beef
- Rub the oil again
- Arrange it on grill rack and grill for 20mints but be turning it time to time
- Done
In the south it is suya. Either way it is the most delicious morsel of meat on a skewer you have ever eaten. This is another street food, which you can find cooking over an open fire in the marketplace, or sold from a roadside stand.
