  4. Get 2 cans cream of chicken
  5. Get 8 oz sour cream
  6. Take 1 box stove top stuffing I used chicken flavor
  7. Make ready 1 cup chicken broth
  8. Get 1/2 stick butter melted

Served with homemade gravy and cranberry sauce. Made this for company and everyone thought the recipe was great! Add enough chicken stock to make a very moist mixture. Remove the chicken and stuffing from the oven.

Steps to make Chicken and stuffing:
  1. Spray slow cooker with non stick cooking spray or a 13 × 9 inch baking dish if baking and pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Then add chicken and 1 to 1 1/2 cups veggies of choice. Add salt, pepper onion powder and garlic powder to taste and mix up.
  2. Mix sour cream with both cans cream of chicken and spread over chicken and vegetables and sprinkle stuffing on
  3. Mix melted butter with broth and evenly pour over top
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours if using slow cooker
  5. Or bake for 35 to 40 minutes uncovered

Add enough chicken stock to make a very moist mixture. Remove the chicken and stuffing from the oven. I followed some of the other reviewers and seasoned the chicken first with poultry seasoning paprika and garlic powder; put the chicken in the pan first then the soup and topped with stuffing. I also sauteed some onion and celery and added that to the stuffing (mixed the cubes and the pieces). Pour broth on top and stir until absorbed.
