A fish pie is a one-pot supper dish made with a combination of fish, leeks, milk, butter, and potatoes.   1. Put flour in a bowl, add butter and rub together until fully incorporated. Add turmeric powder and baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add water as required and mix together, knead until a smooth dough is formed. Set aside!
  2. Put water in a pot and boil the carrots and potatoes until half cooked, drain to remove excess water. Put again in a pot, add the fish, pepper, onions, some seasoning cubes and salt to taste, add little curry powder, stir, cover and allow to steam. Set aside.
  3. Roll out a portion of the dough, cut into squares, rub an egg or flour mixture on the surface, add the filling, and roll to the edge. Lay on a baking tray greased with butter. Complete the process to finish up all the dough. Poke with a fork to aid baking, rub raw egg on the surface for that moist and shiny look. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  4. Your fish pie is ready. You can take it with tea or coffee or juice as breakfast. Enjoy!
